             Liverpool F.C. was founded following a dispute between the Everton committee and John Houlding, club president and owner of the land at Anfield. After eight years at the stadium, Everton relocated to Goodison Park in 1892 and Houlding founded Liverpool F.C. to play at Anfield. Originally named "Everton F.C. and Athletic Grounds Ltd" (Everton Athletic for short), the club became Liverpool F.C. in March 1892 and gained official recognition three months later, after the Football Association refused to recognise the club as Everton. The team won the Lancashire League in its début season, and joined the Football League Second Division at the start of the 1893–94 season. After finishing in first place the club was promoted to the First Division, which it won in 1901 and again in 1906.

Liverpool reached its first FA Cup Final in 1914, losing 1–0 to Burnley It won consecutive League championships in 1922 and 1923, but did not win another trophy until the 1946–47 season, when the club won the First Division for a fifth time. Liverpool suffered its second Cup Final defeat in 1950, playing against Arsenal. The club was relegated to the Second Division in the 1953–54 season. Soon after Liverpool lost 2–1 to non-league Worcester City in the 1958–59 FA Cup, Bill Shankly was appointed manager. Upon his arrival he released 24 players and converted a boot storage room at Anfield into a room where the coaches could discuss strategy; here, Shankly and other "Boot Room" members Joe Fagan, Reuben Bennett, and Bob Paisley began reshaping the team.

The club was promoted back into the First Division in 1962 and won it in 1964, for the first time in 17 years. In 1965, the club won its first FA Cup. In 1966, the club won the First Division but lost to Borussia Dortmund in the European Cup Winners' Cup final. Liverpool won both the League and the UEFA Cup during the 1972–73 season, and the FA Cup again a year later. Shankly retired soon afterwards and was replaced by his assistant, Bob Paisley. In 1976, Paisley's second season as manager, the club won another League and UEFA Cup double. The following season, the club retained the League title and won the European Cup for the first time, but it lost in the 1977 FA Cup Final. Liverpool retained the European Cup in 1978 and regained the First Division title in 1979. During Paisley's nine seasons as manager Liverpool won 21 trophies, including three European Cups, a UEFA Cup, six League titles and three consecutive League Cups; the only domestic trophy to elude him was the FA Cup.

Paisley retired in 1983 and was replaced by his assistant, Joe Fagan. Liverpool won the League, League Cup and European Cup in Fagan's first season, becoming the first English side to win three trophies in a season. Liverpool reached the European Cup final again in 1985, against Juventus at the Heysel Stadium. Before kick-off, Liverpool fans breached a fence which separated the two groups of supporters, and charged the Juventus fans. The resulting weight of people caused a retaining wall to collapse, killing 39 fans, mostly Italians. The incident became known as the Heysel Stadium disaster. The match was played in spite of protests by both managers, and Liverpool lost 1–0 to Juventus. As a result of the tragedy, English clubs were banned from participating in European competition for five years; Liverpool received a ten-year ban, which was later reduced to six years. Fourteen Liverpool fans received convictions for involuntary manslaughter.

Fagan resigned after the disaster and Kenny Dalglish was appointed as player-manager. During his reign, the club won another three League Championships and two FA Cups, including a League and Cup "Double" in the 1985–86 season. Liverpool's success was overshadowed by the Hillsborough disaster: in an FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest on 15 April 1989, hundreds of Liverpool fans were crushed against perimeter fencing. Ninety-four fans died that day; the 95th victim died in hospital from his injuries four days later and the 96th died nearly four years later, without regaining consciousness. After the Hillsborough disaster there was a government review of stadium safety. The resulting Taylor Report paved the way for legislation that required top-division teams to have all-seater stadiums. The report ruled that the main reason for the disaster was overcrowding due to a failure of police control.

Liverpool was involved in the closest finish to a league season during the 1988–89 season. Liverpool finished equal with Arsenal on both points and goal difference, but lost the title on total goals scored when Arsenal scored the final goal in the last minute of the season.

The Kop in 1983, before the Taylor Report recommended that standing areas in football grounds be outlawed following the Hillsborough disaster in 1989.

 

 

Dalglish cited the Hillsborough disaster and its repercussions as the reason for his resignation in 1991; he was replaced by former player Graeme Souness. Under his leadership Liverpool won the 1992 FA Cup Final. Souness was replaced by Roy Evans, and Liverpool went on to win the 1995 Football League Cup Final. Gérard Houllier was appointed co-manager in the 1998–99 season and became the sole manager in November 1998 after Evans resigned. In 2001, Houllier's second full season in charge, Liverpool won a "Treble": the FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Cup. Houllier underwent major heart surgery during the 2001–02 season and Liverpool finished second in the League, behind Arsenal.

Houllier was replaced by Rafael Benítez at the end of the 2003–04 season. Despite finishing fifth in Benítez's first season, Liverpool won the 2004–05 UEFA Champions League, beating A.C. Milan 3–2 in a penalty shootout after the match ended with a score of 3–3. The following season, Liverpool finished third in the Premier League and won the 2006 FA Cup Final, beating West Ham United in a penalty shootout after the match finished on 3–3. American businessmen George Gillett and Tom Hicks became the owners of the club during the 2006–07 season, in a deal which valued the club and its outstanding debts at £218.9 million. The club reached the 2007 UEFA Champions League Final against Milan, as it had in 2005, but this time Liverpool lost 2–1. During the 2008–09 season Liverpool achieved 86 points, its highest Premier League points total, and finished as runners up to Manchester United.

In the 2009–10 season, Liverpool finished seventh in the Premier League and failed to qualify for the Champions League. Benítez subsequently left by mutual consent and was replaced by Fulham manager Roy Hodgson. At the start of the 2010–11 season Liverpool was on the verge of bankruptcy and the club's creditors asked the High Court to allow the sale of the club, overruling the wishes of Hicks and Gillett. John W. Henry, owner of the Boston Red Sox and of New England Sports Ventures, bid successfully for the club and took ownership in October 2010. Poor results during the start of that season led to Hodgson leaving the club by mutual consent and former manager Kenny Dalglish taking over. After finishing in 8th position in the 2011–12 season, the worst league finish in 18 years, Dalglish was sacked. He was replaced by Brendan Rodgers.

         Dulu, Aku seorang yang bersifat pemarah. Aku tidak bisa meredam amarahku setiap hari. Ayahku menyadari hai ini. Untuk mengurangi rasa amarahku, Ayahku memberikan sekantong paku dan mengatakan kepadaku agar aku memakukan paku itu ke pagar di belakang rumah tiap kali aku marah.

Hari pertama, aku bisa memakukan 48 paku ke pagar belakang rumah. Namun secarabertahap jumlaj itu berkurang. Aku menyadari bahwa lebih mudah menahan amarah ketimbang memaku paku ke pagar. Akhirnya aku bisa menahan dan mengandalikan amarahku yang selama ini telah memburuku. Aku memberitahukan hal ini kepada Ayahku.

Ayahku mengatakan, agar aku mencabut satu paku di pagar setiap hari, dimana aku tidak marah. Hari-hari berlalu dan tidak terasa paku-paku yang tertancap tadi telah aku cabut dan lepaskan semua.

Aku memberitahukan hal ini kepada Ayahku bahwa semua paku telah aku cabut.

Ayah tersenyum memandangku. Dia menuntunku ke pagar, dan berkata "Hmm, kamu telah berhasil dengan baik anakku, tapi, lihatlah lubang-lubang di pagar ini. Pagar ini tidak akan pernah bisa sama seperti sebelumnya. Ketika kamu mengatakan sesuatu dalam kemarahan. Kata-katamu meninggalkan bekas."

Aku menyadari hal ini bahwa aku setiap kali marah akan teringat pada orang yang aku dendam. Ayah tambah berkata "Seperti lubang ini... di hati orang lain. Kamu dapat menusukkan pisau pada seseorang, lalu mencabut pisau itu... Tetapi tidak peduli beberapa kali kamu minta maaf, luka itu akan tetap ada... dan luka karena kata-kata adalah sama buruknya dengan luka fisik..."

Burn My Love

         I had just turned 15 and was in a bad relationship. All we did was argue and fight. Over stupid stuff because we where too young to have anything important like bills or a mortgage to argue about. His name was Wharlyn and we didn't go to the same high school which made our relationship even worse.

One day me and my best friend Deana decided to go hang out in the music room after we had gotten out poorman's meal. A plate of fried rice from the Chinese food restaurant about two blocks away from school. We sat down in the back of the music room where the instruments lay and began to eat and talk about our day.

Someone had walked past and was heading to the Trumpet room. I didn't bother to look up. The person said "Your pretty but you have on too much make up". I looked up and there was a football player. What was he doing back here anyway? I blushed a little and said thank and went back to eating. Deana looked at me and said "He's kind of cute, I would date him." I looked at her for a minute and just brushed off the comment. He was cute but I'm not ready for something new. As the weeks went by I started to notice him around the music room more often. Whenever he saw me, he would sit next to me and tell me a corny joke just to see me smile.

I didn't like to smile at all. I had extremely low self esteem and would always pick myself apart in the mirror. This went on for about another month before we both left for our next class and ended up going down the same hall. We started talking and by the time we hit the staircase he gave me his number. I was excited and felt bad at the same time. Here I was taking this guy's number but yet I knew when I got home Wharlyn would be there blowing up my Blackberry about something stupid. Now that I think about it, who cares.

When I got home I waited a little while so not to seem desperate and texted him. When I did he was drunk and watching Juno. I laughed and brushed the night away paying Wharlyn little attention which ticked him off even more. It really didn't matter to me. For once in six months I was happy.

My birthday rolled around and he was still around. His name unimportant. All I knew was he made me happy. I felt safe, like the world had no meaning to me because we where always in our own. We ended up finally having sex after I had turned 16 in my bathroom. How romantic. At the time it didnt matter to me. I was so sure he was the one that I easily gave it up to him. Unlike everyone else I dated got a big fat NO. On March 3rd 2009 we where an official couple. From then on everything seemed fine. We had our small up's and down's but nothing serious until 2012 hit. Everything became one of the biggest nightmares of my life. First I had left my Facebook page open on his laptop. He went through my messages and found out I was messing around with one of my friends. We broke up for three days after I had begged and pleaded for him to take me back.

I cried for those three days and did everything I could to please him. He finally took me back but with one eye open at all times. At this point the wedding was off and trust was gone. I understood why so I didn't complain. Since that day we had gotten into arguement after arguement. Nothing seemed to let up. One day he came over to my house and said he had to talk to me, but he wanted to collect his thoughts. I forced him to tell me. The news was that he cheated on me for a year and a half with a girl that I hate. The little girl that was supposedly his isn't his. His daughter that he had about 5 years ago had died at birth. So his son that I was carrying was honestly his first child.

This is when the epihany hit. In 2011 I was had found out I had gotten HPV which caused me to be on the verge for Cervical Cancer. I would bleed during sex and things didn't always feel right. When I had asked him he said he wasn't sleeping with anybody.... The day before I went away to college we had sex. 4 weeks later I was pregnant and upstate all alone. I dropped out of college and went back to NYC to have an abortion. I couldn't believe I had killed my first child because I wasn't ready... During my recovery I could have sex for two weeks. During those two weeks he cheated on me with her again..... Why would he do something like this to me. He even told me at one point he loved her. Well why didn't you break up with me, he said he was confused and didn't want to let me go.

Bullshit. They finally stopped having sex in December. Hard to believe. I was nothing but a joke to him. Now here I was pregnant with his child. 6 months in the making. How do I handle this... I really wanted to walk away and he began crying when I started to leave. Your feelings mean nothing to me so cry me a river. He held on to me and begged me to stay. I kept refusing but I grew weak. Fustration really takes a lot out of a pregnant woman.

My dumbass gave him a second chance..... Now here I am, with this man that I do not love the same anymore. Sex isn't the same. We don't make love anymore because I refuse to let my feelings take over me again. Whenever he leaves the house I don't even think to care when he will come back.

Slowly my love is burning, and the ashes will be swept away by the wind. I will not care to follow the ashes or think twice about where they will end up. He didn't care about me for a year and a half why should I care now.I really do not regret that one night my friend and I did what we did. All that really matter now is my unborn son.

Ada seorang kaya raya sedang mengadakan pesta di rumahnya di Kawasan Menteng. Kayanya nggak kira-kira, duitnya bejibun, belon lagi rumahnya yang berada di Komplek Setia Budi, punya banyak cewek simpanan, dia juga punya helikopter sama pesawat terbang. Pokoknya semua ada deh.
Orangnya sedikit nyentrik. Kolam renangnya diisi banyak buaya. Lagi pada pesta dipinggir kolam, Uteh, begitu dia disapa, berdiri di atas menara life guard supaya teman-temannya bias ngeliat.
Terus dia suruh semuanya tenang dan berkata: “Baiklah, orang pertama yang berani renang di kolam ini dari ujung ke ujung bakalan gue kasih semua duit gue.”
Semua pada diam. Uteh ngeliat ke temen-temennya dengan gemes lalu berkata: “OK, orang pertama yang berani renang di kolam ini dari ujung ke ujung, gue kasih semua duitku plus rumahku.”
Namun, tetap nggak ada juga yang bereaksi.
“OK, kalau gitu semua duitku, rumah, mobil-mobil, pesawat terbang, semua milik ku, saham, surat berharga dan semua cewek aku, pokoknya semua yang aku miliki.”
SPLASHH!!! Ada yang terjun! Buaya-buaya pada ngerubutin tapi dia berkelit kayak Tarzan. Berkelit kesana – sini, berkelahi juga dengan para buaya itu. Akhirnya nyampe juga dia di seberang. Uteh turun dari life guard tower lalu berlari ke orang tersebut yang terakhir diketahui bernama Gusto.
Uteh: “Gilak! Hebat bener, aku nggak nyangka kalo ada yang berani … melakukannya. Kau mau duitnya sekarang?”
Gusto: “Nggak! Aku nggak mau duit!”
Uteh: “Kau mau rumahnya sekarang?”
Gusto: “Nggak! Aku nggak mau rumah!”
Uteh: “Kau mau mobil sama pesawatnya sekarang atau nanti?”
Gusto: “Nggak! Aku juga nggak mau pesawat!”
Uteh: “Kau minta saham atau surat berharga?”
Gusto: “Nggak! Aku gak mau…”
Uteh: “Atau, kau minta cewek-cewek aku?”
Gusto: “Nggak! Aku juga nggak mau itu…”
Uteh: “Habis, kau itu maunya apa!!!”
